GAAB Africa (The Great African Art Banner) is a Pan-African initiative born out of a vision to harness the power of Afro-optimism through creative arts, particularly visual art, to drive Africa’s socio-economic and cultural transformation.

The Great African Art Banner seeks to highlight the continent’s strength in these industries by showcasing Africa’s artists and their works to a global audience. By amplifying their voices, we create new opportunities for cross-border collaboration, economic growth, and cultural understanding.
To use visual arts as a medium to inspire Africans to reflect on their collective dreams and aspirations for the continent, and to actively participate in shaping a united, prosperous Africa.
To bring together artists from across Africa and the diaspora, unifying their voices to create solutions for "The Africa We Want" in alignment with the African Union's Agenda 2063.
